75th Anniversary - A Cradle Will Rock

Saturday, November 1, 2014 – The Twenty-Five Club Celebrated its 75th Anniversary with a Black-Tie Gala “The Cradle Will Rock, A Platinum Affair”.
Welcome: (from our Co-chairs)
"75 years ago, on the afternoon of September 21, 1939, Mrs. Lillian Reese gathered together 24 prominent women to organize a new charity club named The Twenty-Five Club.
We are gathered here tonight to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of The Twenty-Five Club of Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC. We welcome you to ”THE CRADLE WILL ROCK, A PLATINUM AFFAIR."
”Without your generous support, we would not be able to raise the much needed funds for prenatal and neonatal research and clinical care at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC. This evening success is largely due to our honorees, Charles “Corky” and Frances Cost. Their commitment to our 75th anniversary gala was, without a doubt, outstanding and we thank them.We would also like to thank our committee chairs who worked tirelessly to help us make tonight a success. The legacy of the original twenty-five woman that started out so very small, and nonetheless made a huge impact, will be the inspiration of our members through the next seventy-five years. With your help, we will continue to make a difference in the lives of babies.
